Most people use these two ingredients in a drink of warm water. It?s easier to dissolve honey and cinnamon in warm water than cold. Mix them well together. Usually use two times the amount of honey for cinnamon. Ceylon cinnamon is best for this so a small teaspoon of cinnamon to two of honey. Of course, the better quality the ingredients, the better it is. Having said this, if I were in pain, I?d just go to my kitchen cupboard and make use of the two ingredients there. However, if I were serious about it, then I?d get the best quality cinnamon and definitely organic honey ? it doesn?t really matter which variety but choose the one which tastes best for you. Some people don?t like the taste although many find it very pleasant. If you don?t like the taste, then I?d suggest you only put as much water in to dissolve the ingredients and then down it in one or two swallows. Drink it at least every morning and every evening ? or just before you go to bed if you know arthritis can flare up in the night.

Another thing you can do is make a paste out of the two ingredients. Normally you need just a tiny bit of water to make the paste. You can rub this paste onto parts of your body that are particularly sore. Most people report that they feel better within about fifteen minutes. It might be good to do a test first, in case you are sensitive to the cinnamon. Just rub a small bit of the paste on your wrist and wait ten minutes. It could irritate your skin but you will know within that time frame.
