Hyphema

A patient with Hyphema, (Blood in the anterior chamber). This case requires bed rest in a semi-setting position & is typically treated with Topical Steroids (To control iritis), topical beta blockers (to control IOP) & Systemic antifibrinolytic (Aminocaproic acid) to avoid re-bleeding. Avoid NSAID’s,to prevent re-bleeding. only Acitaminophen is allowed for pain control.
